OUR PASTOR

Dr. Norman L. Baker is the Founder of Project Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2014. Since that time, the ministry has led numerous outreach efforts to serve the homeless population in Pensacola and Escambia County, Florida. These efforts include providing hot meals, clothing, ID cards, transportation, and shelter when available. The organization exists with the goal of helping those in need get back on their feet, restoring their dignity and self-worth.

Dr. Baker earned his Doctor of Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary. He is also the beloved Pastor of Project Ministries Worship Center in Pensacola, FL, where he has been entrusted with the charge to lead a dedicated group of kingdom citizens who, as Nehemiah 4:6 declares, have “a mind to work.”

With a vision to minister to the whole person—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically—Dr. Baker created a safe space for wellness conversations and holistic ministry. In addition to his pastoral and community service roles, he also serves as a personal trainer at World’s Gym in Pensacola.

He is married to First Lady Ysterria Baker, and together they are blessed with two children: a daughter, Breonna, and a son, Brandon.
